Karim Benzema's current deal with Real Madrid expires in less than 4 months, and there are still no official news regarding his contract extension.
In early February, reliable Mario Cortegana reported that the Frenchman would 'definitely' sign a new deal with the club.
Less credible Sergio Santos later claimed that the 35-year-old was actually considering an offer from a Saudi Arabian club. This rumour was previously denied by El Chiringuito's Edu Aguirre.
The latest report from Diario AS notes that both Carlo Ancelotti and Florentino Perez completely trust Benzema despite his recent dip in form and fitness problems.
So, despite a big offer from a Saudi Arabian club, everything indicates that Karim Benzema will put pen to paper at the end of the season, extending his stay at Real Madrid for one more season – that will likely be his final.
There are several other players whose future will be decided soon; it just seems like the club don't want to deal with these matters ahead of the final stretch of the campaign.
