According to Football Transfers, Asensio has agreed to join Barcelona on a free transfer from Real Madrid in the summer.
Asensio, who has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the past, did not sign an extension with Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old winger is currently in the final months of his contract with Real Madrid.
The Spaniard joined the Los Blancos back in 2015 and has since made 266 appearances for the La Liga champions.
Asensio has scored 55 goals and provided 29 assists so far at Real Madrid.
He has made 31 appearances for Carlo Ancelott’s side this season, scoring six goals and registering five assists.
Asensio was on the scoresheet in Real Madrid’s latest La Liga 3-1 victory against Espanyol.
